For over 60 years, the Borough of Schuylkill Haven has served the residents of Schuylkill Haven Borough, Cressona Borough and a portion of North Manheim Township residents by providing a safe and dependable water source. The Borough of Schuylkill Haven’s system began in the 1940's when the borough purchased the Tumbling Run Dams. 

The Water Treatment Department manages water quality and produces an average of 1 million of gallons a day. The Water & Sewer Department oversees the installation of, and extensions to, the municipal water and sewer systems. The borough owns 51 miles of underground pipes necessary to provide clean and safe water to area residential, commercial, and industrial customers. During the past several years, the borough has made significant improvements in the water system to ensure quality service.

Today, there are nearly 3,300 connections to distribution system.
